Tips for Oily Skin

Tips for Oily Skin

Tips for Oily Skin

Oily skin care tips from experts on how to balance oily skin.

Tips for Oily Skin is your broad guideline on what works to balance oil in the skin from my hands-on work with all skins for 33+ years.

Look from perspective: how is your present skincare? Did your oily skin condition improve?

What is Oily Skin?

Oily skin has unbalanced oil secretion. Excess sebum (oil) production clogs your pores, makes them more prominent, and leads to whiteheads, blackheads, and acne breakouts.

Let's check how your skin is.

  • Does it feel sticky, shiny most of the day, or maybe greasy?
  • Do you have visible pores, especially on T-zone, which is the chin, nose, and forehead?
  • Do you get occasional bumps, whiteheads, blackheads, breakouts, or blemishes?
  • Does your makeup "melts or cake," and it does not last?
  • If you answered Yes to any or all questions, this Oily Skin Routine is for you.

Why is my Skin Oily?

When you have an oily skin condition, the oil glands attached to every hair follicle produce an excess of sebum(oil). Sebum protects and moisturizes your skin, but the quantity of sebum makes skin unbalanced and oily. Your goal is to find the balance to maintain skin moisture without having too many oils.

First Tip: Washing

  1. Cleanse with exfoliating Oily Skin Wash. If you have oily skin, use a gentle exfoliating wash/cleanser that won't strip away your natural oils. It gently deep cleanses and removes dirt, sweat, makeup, and other impurities. It softens, sluffs dead skin from the surface, and optimizes penetration of the following product.

I recommend Clarate Wash.

You asked: "Which Facewash is Best for Oily Skin?"

Facial Cleanser for Oily Skin or Facial Wash for Oily Skin does precisely the same function to keep your skin free of environmental dirt, sweat, makeup, and excess oils that oily skin produces.

Cleansing for Oily Skin is essential for preparing and enabling the skin surface to penetrate the following active ingredients.

Facial Wash for Oily Skin should deep cleanse and be P-H balanced without stripping the skin from all protective oils, leaving your skin tight and vulnerable to infections.

I recommend: Clarate Face Wash because:

  •  It softens and exfoliates dead skin from the surface and, at the same time, moisturizes.
  • Controls bacteria-no more breakouts!
  • Purifies and brightens dark marks, reducing inflammation and redness.
  • It prevents clogged pores, pimples, blemishes, and scars.
  • In addition, it prevents clogged pores, blackheads, spots, and bumps.
  • Leaves skin deep clean, exfoliated, purified, and ready for the following steps.

Question: How to Exfoliate your Oily Face?

I recommend: You can consider alternate Clarate Face Wash with Enzyme Smoothie Face Wash & Scrub, Exfoliating Scrub For Face.

Enzyme Smoothie Face Wash & Scrub cleans and exfoliates with gentle enzymes and scrubs with tiny round granules. On top of that prevents a build-up on the skin, large pores, and blackheads.

Second Tip: Toning

Don't skip the conditioning oil balancing step!

Many people under-evaluate the power of active Face Toners.

Toner works symbioses with washes/cleansers to further condition your skin with active ingredients.

I recommend:

Clarate Facial Toner because:

  •  It contains  Niacinamide and repairs and improves brightening spots and marks.
  • Clarate Toner with Witch Hazel reduces large pores size.
  • It controls oil secretion and makes your skin less shiny.
  • Your makeup stops "melting" and "caking" and lasts longer.
  • Also, it minimizes pore-clogging congestion and inflammation.

When is Toner Used on Face?

Use it always after washing your skin. Use it on gauze or cotton or just the palms of your hands when applying it to your face. Let it dry.

Third Tip: Treatment or Serum

Possibly you need a Treatment Product or Serum.

  • Treatment for breakouts and blemishes: I recommend: The Best Acne Spot Treatment dries all inflammation and pimples rapidly. The light gel works magic as a spot treatment. It works even faster if you massage it into the blemish. Use it once or twice a day. It dries pimples fast.
  • As an exfoliator: I recommend: Glycolic Acid Cream for Face is typically used as an exfoliant, as it can help slough away dead skin cells, lightens dark spots, and reveal the fresh, radiant skin beneath. Your skin replaces itself every 4-6 weeks, and your skin builds all new skin cells and reveals healthier, more youthful skin.

In addition, it has so many other benefits as an anti-aging solution you don't want to skip it.

To speed up the exfoliating process, use Glycolic Cream I Cream with Glycolic Acid. It gives your skin long-term benefits, including anti-aging.

Use it preferably at night only.

    • Use Serum for anti-aging benefits: I recommend:
  • Best Vitamin C Serum | Triple C Serum for Face in the morning and/or use Iconic A Serum for Face | Retinol Serum for Face, which is for increased cell renewal to see flawless, revitalized, youthful skin.
  • Serum to brighten dark marks and hyperpigmentation: I recommend: Clear & Bright Serum | Dark Spots Age Spots
  • Serum for replenishing hydration: I recommend: Best Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

    Fourth Tip: Lotion/Moisturizer

    Moisturize with an Oil-Free Moisturizer.

Your skin is already oily; you don't want to add more oils to the skin. Instead, your goal is to moisturize oily skin without any oils. An oil-free moisturizer should hydrate your skin and nourish it with antibacterial properties to reduce acne breakouts and prevent clogged pores.

You say: My Skin is oily, and I don't need moisturizer.

Well, in reality, you need moisturizer. Let me explain why:

If you skip moisturizer, your skin over-compensates to produce more oils to protect your face.

In addition, some people have "Oily Dry Skin," meaning that skin is dry in moisture and dehydrated but at the same time feels oily. When skin is dry in moisture, Oily Skin produces more oils to lubricate the skin and protect it from more moisture loss.

What it means, oily skin needs moisturizer. First, however, use a non-greasy oil-free, Oily Skin Moisturizer.

I recommend: Balance Moisturizer which is oil-free and provides potent antioxidant and antibacterial (cranberry extract) benefits for all skin conditions, especially acne and oily skin.

Oil Free Balance Moisturizer is Suitable for Acne-Prone and Oily Skin Moisturizer.

    Fifth Tip: Sunscreen

Protect your skin with anti-aging Sunscreen.

If you're looking for an effective sunscreen, look for Dewey Moisturizer Sunscreen SPF 30, absorbing and blocks broad-spectrum sun rays. Apply sunscreen SPF 30 for at least 30 minutes before going outside.

    • Sunscreen protects oily and acne skin from dark marks and dark spots from acne, and the Best Facial Sunscreen for Oily Skin or Dewey Moisturizer Sunscreen SPF 30:
    • It protects from photoaging, hyperpigmentation, brown spots, sunspots on the skin, and dark marks.
    • Moisturizes and nourishes the skin (younger individuals can substitute this for Balance Moisturizer)
    • For all skin types
    • Infused with Hyaluronic Acid moisturizes and provides broad UVA/UVB protection.
    • Prevents from sunburns, risk of skin cancer.

Your other choice is Tinted Dewey Moisturizer Sunscreen SPF 30:

    • Very light Sunscreen, same as above (with a little tint), protects from photoaging, sun spots, and dark spots.
    • Moisturizes and nourishes the skin.
    • Even out slight discoloration instead of makeup.

    Sixth Tip: Facial Mask

Apply an oily skin treatment mask.

An oily skin treatment mask will help remove excess oil from your face and leave it amazingly soft with visibly reduced pores. It's a favorite, fantastic treat to leave your skin incredibly silky and smooth with minimized pores. We recommend using a clay mask because it helps cleanse your pores and tighten them up.

Overall Facial Masks work as a concentrated "treat" for skins.

    • AHA/BHA Mint Mask | Bentonite Clay Face Mask absorbs the excess oils from the skin.
    • Exfoliates dead skin cells.
    • Clarifies impurities.
    • It prevents clogged pores, blackheads, and whiteheads,
    • Brightens uneven skin tone and discoloration,
    • Leaves skin soft and refined and without shine.
    • Buy AHA/BHA Mask to make your skin less shiny and your pores visibly smaller.

Take-out for Tips for Oily Skin

Start your Oily Skin Journey. My recommendation is to start with no more than three new products. Your skin can be confused with too many changes. Then, you can add one or two more new products to build your new skin routine the following month.

The Basic Facial Pack for Oily Skin to start with contains:

    1. Clarate Face Wash
    2. Clarate Facial Toner
    3. Balance Moisturizer
    4. Say goodbye to shiny skin and Shop your products here.

More Advice Tips for Oily Skin

Any time to start new skincare, take your close-up selfie in the good morning light, possibly next to the window—mark the calendar, and take the same picture every month to monitor your progress.

    • Start the journey slowly, and use products sparingly because they concentrate on active ingredients. You can initially experience tingling, dryness, redness, flaking, and skin purging.
    • However, all symptoms are temporary. It is no allergy; your skin needs time to adjust. Be aware that it takes about three months to see the changes because natural, genetic regeneration takes one month to about six weeks (depending on age) for new skin cells to reach the surface.
    • Be consistent: never skip any step. Sometimes, you will feel knocked down because of your skin from time to time, and it feels like you are right where you started. Be patient; it takes time.
    • All products are non-comedogenic, balanced, natural, and suitable for Oily Skin, Large Pores, and Acne.

It takes time to see changes because you need to shed a few layers of dead skin. Then, rebalancing the function of oils on your skin takes time. Don't get discouraged! Many customers did it successfully. Don't give up, and try again. Consistency pays in results. You are not alone.
